The purpose of this study is research the problem about Jinam memorial festival in Yeosu. Local festival is the essence of culture because it represents the life of the people in community and culture intensively and implicatively. In particular, Regional festival has the advantage of promoting regional culture, increasement of regional income directly and indirectly, improvement of the latent powers for community development, and suitability to demands for dynamic modern tourism. But Jinam memorial festival has a lot of problems which are insufficiency of festival characteristic, uncertainty of festival theme and purpose consciousness, uniformity of festival program, festival management insufficiency of independent management and festival expert, deficiency of tourism infrastructure.
Therefore, the purpose of this article is to compare with Cultural Tourism Festivals and research some problems and improvements about Jinam memorial festival in Yeosu.
